Bei DieLeinwand kommen ausschließlich moderne Drucktechnologien für den Leinwanddruck zum Einsatz. Eine Künstlerleinwand, die mit einer speziellen Beschichtung versehen ist, wird mit lösungsmittelfreien und UV-beständigen Tinten bedruckt. So kann eine Haltbarkeit von bis zu 50 Jahren gewährleistet werden. Sobald der Druck der Leinwand abgeschlossen ist, zieht das Team von DieLeinwand sie per Hand auf den Keilrahmen aus Echtholz auf.
Die Stärke der Keilrahmen richtet sich danach, wie groß die Leinwand sein soll. Kleinere Formate erhalten einen zwei Zentimeter starken Keilrahmen, während für größere Leinwände sogar ein vier Zentimeter starker Keilrahmen verwendet wird. Für einen Aufpreis von 9,90 Euro können die Kunden ihre Leinwand mit einer manuell durchgeführten Schutzveredelung durch Fine Art Schutzlack versehen lassen. So wird die Leinwand zusätzlich geschützt. Die Randgestaltung können die Nutzer bei DieLeinwand nicht beeinflussen, denn das Motiv wird generell fortlaufend um den Keilrahmen gespannt. Daher ist zu beachten, dass wichtige Bilddetails nicht zu nah am Rand platziert werden sollten.
Das Foto für die Leinwand wird direkt über die Homepage von DieLeinwand hochgeladen. Anschließend bestimmen die Kunden das gewünschte Format. Dabei stehen mehr als 50 verschiedene Formate für die Leinwand zur Auswahl. Neben dem digitalen, dem quadratischen und dem klassischen Format können auch 3:1- oder 4:1-Panorma-Formate gewählt werden. Es ist ebenfalls möglich, per Kontaktformular nach speziellen Sonderformaten zu fragen. Nach dem Hochladen können die Nutzer das Bild nach Belieben drehen. Weitere Bildgestaltungsfunktionen werden jedoch nicht angeboten.
Zubehör für Leinwände gibt es bei DieLeinwand nicht. Allerdings können Kunden bei individuellen Wünschen jederzeit das Unternehmen kontaktieren, denn das Team von DieLeinwand macht fast alles für seine Kunden möglich.
