Das Unternehmen LeinwandXXL druckt die hochgeladenen Fotos unter Verwendung von professionellen Tinten auf eine Künstlerleinwand. So kann das Team eine Farbechtheit von mehr als 100 Jahren gewährleisten. Der Umwelt und der Gesundheit zuliebe kommen nur lösungsmittelfreie Farben zum Einsatz. Das Aufspannen der Leinwände auf den Echtholz-Keilrahmen erfolgt durch sorgfältige Handarbeit. Auch hierbei wird viel Wert auf Umwelt- und Gesundheitsschutz gelegt und daher nur unbehandeltes Holz verwendet.
Auf Wunsch kann die Leinwand für einen Aufpreis nach dem Druck noch mit einer speziellen Schutzlackveredelung versehen werden. So wird eine noch längere Haltbarkeit sichergestellt.
Die Randgestaltung können die Nutzer nicht selbst bestimmen. Bei Leinwand-XXL.de wird der Leinwandstoff um den Keilrahmen gespannt, wobei die Ränder des Motivs aus dem sichtbaren Bereich verschwinden. Es ist daher wichtig, dass sich keine Texte oder Motivdetails direkt am Rand befinden.
Die Kunden laden das Foto bei LeinwandXXL über die Homepage hoch und bestimmen anschließend die Leinwandgröße. Man kann die Leinwand zum Beispiel im Standard- oder im klassischen Format anfertigen lassen. Aber auch verschiedene Panorama-Formate, ein Breitbildformat sowie ein fast quadratisches und ein quadratisches Format stehen zur Auswahl. Die kleinste Leinwand hat Abmessungen von 20 cm x 30 cm. Auch riesige Kunstwerke von 5,70 m x 1,90 m sind bei mehrteiligen Leinwänden möglich. Dabei kann die Leinwand aus maximal sechs Einzelteilen bestehen. Nach der Auswahl des Formats haben die Kunden bei LeinwandXXL keine weiteren Möglichkeiten zur Bildbearbeitung oder -gestaltung.
Zubehör wie Rahmen oder ein Montageset zur Aufhängung ist bei Leinwand-XXL.de nicht erhältlich. Man kann die Leinwand jedoch mit herkömmlichen Nägeln an der Wand befestigen.
